Bibliography

There has been a huge number of books written about zoos in general and about certain zoos in particular. There are many others, some of which are so specialised that there are of little interest to the general reader and, of course, new books are appearing all the time. Several of our members have published their own books. In addition, almost all the larger zoos, as well as many of the smaller ones, publish journals, annual reports, newsletters or other periodicals of one kind or another. As is only to be expected, they vary considerably in quality, but many are well worth seeking out for the information they provide.
