In 1961 at least 27 species of aquaria fish were on exhibit in the newly opened Aquarium. Few details have emerged about this short-lived development. The only occupants I can find out about (above) are Hassar Catfish, Elephantnose Fish and at least one species of Seahorse. What other species were kept at that time is open to conjecture. The Aquarium was disbanded in either late 1962 or early 1963, and the 150 tropical fish that were resident in there were sold.
